Product Introduction
Chain Extender MDBA Is A Trade Name Of 4,4′-Methylenebis (N-sec-butylaniline) 4,4′-Bis-S-Butylaminodiphenylmethane, Which May Also Be Called Unilink 4200, A Liquid Secondary Diamine In Which Hydrogen Atoms On Each Amino Group Are Replaced By A Sec-Butyl Group, Which Is Limited. The Combination Of Active Hydrogen Atoms And Sec-Butyl Groups In The Space Produces A Number Of Unique Properties. The Amino Moiety Forms A Urea Bond That Affects The Hard Segment, While Butyl Acts As An Internal Plasticizer. It Is Attached To The Polymer Matrix, Neither It Will Leach Out, And It Will Not Precipitate. Simultaneously, The Alkyl Group Increases The Solubility Of The Diamine So That It Can Be Mixed With Almost Any Polyol And Polyamine.
