Aromacs-free phosphate- based flame retardant both for polyether and polyester-based flexible polyurethane foams NC-28
Description and Application
Leticia NC-28 is a low viscosity aromacs-free phosphate- based flame retardant that can be used in both polyether and polyester-based flexible polyurethane foams.
The other specificity of Leticia NC-28 lies in its superior resistance toward crystallizaon at low temperature, a phenomenon that is oen encountered with similar flame retardant commercial grades.As a result, Leticia NC-28 is a flame retardant of choice for use in winter condions.
Its high purity and absence of phenolic by-products make Leticia NC-28 a flame retardant of choice for enhanced VOC’s performance application.
LeticiaNC-28 can be used in continuous and discontinuous slab stock and molded production applications. Examples of fire standards that can be met using Leticia NC-28 are UL 94, Cal TB 117 parts A and D, FMVSS 302. It can also be associated with a synergist (i.e. melamine) for the production of foams that meet the requirements of BS 5852 Crib 5.

Handling and Transportation Instructions
Product is available in isocontainers (max. 25 t), totes (1000 l) and drums (200 l / 55 US gal).
Product must be stored in dry, cool area away from direct sun exposure and kept away from humidity and water contamination. Handle in accordance with good professional hygiene and safety procedures. Use in well ventilated areas.
In case of spillage, absorb substance with inert material and place into a chemical waste container. Do prevent spill from entering water supplies or water courses.
